elegantly clean and minimal edges along the neckline, sleeves and body. The blouse is worked entirely in
the round from the bottom up using 1 strand of either Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk.
You start working the body up to the armholes where it is then placed on hold while you work both sleeves.
Afterwards, work is joined at the underarms and the yoke shaped with charted decreases. The neckline is finished with an elegant and durable i-cord edge while the body and sleeves have folded edges.
Holly Blouse has long sleeves and is intended to be fitted overall but without being tight. It is therefore designed with negative ease as the eyelet pattern will stretch slightly with wear. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm [38½”], you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.
The Holly lace pattern is charted only. Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
Finished measurements: Chest circumference: approx. 74 (80, 86, 98, 105, 117, 129, 135, 148) cm
