Cobra Sweater is a modern take on the classic cabled sweater with an untraditional way of combining cables and rib pattern. The sweater has a loose fit and wide sleeves, and is worked from the top down using 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. The yoke is worked first, back and forth, before you continue the yoke and body in the round. Next, stitches are picked up for the sleeves and sleeves are shaped with short rows before being continued in the round. Lastly, stitches are picked up for the neckband and the ribbed neckband worked in the round. Cobra Sweater is designed with positive ease. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm [38½”], you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.
