Daisy Cardigan has a raglan construction and is worked back and forth from the top down with 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. The cardigan features sweet embroidered daisies and crochet buttons on a simple backdrop of plain stockinette.
You start with the ribbed neckband, shape the neckline with German short rows and work the yoke back and forth to the underarms where sleeve stitches are placed on hold to be worked after the body has been completed. The ribbed button bands are worked at the same time as the rest of the cardigan. You work the flower discs into the cardigan along the way, while the petals are embroidered on afterwards. Sleeves are worked in the round and finished with ribbed cuffs. Lastly, you crochet the buttons and sew them onto the button band.
