Unicef Romper is inspired by, and made and designed for all the children of the world. The total sales of this pattern will be donated to Unicef and their work for the world’s children. Unicef Romper is worked from the top down, has a circular yoke construction and a charted Fair Isle pattern of children holding hands around the yoke. You start working back and forth to create the key hole opening at back neck, continue in the round for the yoke and body before working back and forth again for front and back crotch. The romper is shaped with German short rows at the underarms and lower back. Stitches are picked up for the edges along the leg openings and button bands. The romper is worked using 1 strand of Merino in two contrasting colorways.
